About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with extensive experience in the retail domain to join our team. This role involves owning business requirements from discovery through agile sprint grooming, developing artifacts for workshops, and identifying business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, proficiency in all phases of the development cycle, and experience collaborating with remote/offshore teams. This is a 12+ month onsite position in Vancouver, WA, requiring F2F interviews and local candidates only.

Requirements

10 years of experience in the Retail domain as a Subject Matter Expert
Experience with mobile and web solutions for Retail clients
3+ years of eCommerce business analysis experience
Experience with functional and nonfunctional requirements for software development and/or integration projects
Excellent presentation, listening, written, and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with Agile software development methodology and user story creation
Strong understanding of programming languages, middleware solutions, application servers, and presentation layer tools
7+ years of total work experience with at least 3 years as an on-site Product Manager
Expertise in the retail domain is a must

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Event Management solutions

Responsibilities

Own Business Requirements from Discovery to Agile-driven Sprint Grooming sessions
Develop artifacts for workshops and ensure all business needs are captured
Proactively identify business opportunities and collaborate with business and technology teams to develop solutions
Manage backlogs and guide clients on scope-creep and change management
Work independently and within distributed teams throughout all phases of the development cycle
Collaborate with remote/offshore development teams
Travel to client sites (stores) up to ~10%
Act as the primary point of contact with clients, leveraging previous experience as a professional consultant
