About The Position

This is an 18-month term opportunity supporting a high-priority transformation initiative within Medavie, a national health solutions partner. The role focuses on the implementation of a new ERP system for core finance functions. The Business Analyst will work closely with internal project teams, IT, and external partners to document future-state processes, support system configuration and testing, and ensure alignment between business needs and ERP capabilities. This position offers a hands-on role in transitioning Finance to a modern platform, enhancing processes and reporting across the organization. The role is ideal for candidates with experience in ERP implementation, business systems analysis, finance transformation, and stakeholder-facing project delivery. The term is for 18 months with potential for extension or longer-term opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience in business analysis, preferably in Finance or ERP projects
  • Strong understanding of financial processes (GL, AP, AR, reporting) and procurement / purchasing workflows
  • Hands-on experience supporting ERP implementations, business requirements documentation (BRDs, user stories), process mapping, and testing / UAT
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working with vendors and supporting transformation initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-based environment

Responsibilities

  • Map current and future-state processes; identify opportunities to improve and streamline workflows
  • Partner with stakeholders and vendors to gather, document, and refine business requirements
  • Support ERP configuration, implementation activities, and integration discussions
  • Develop and execute testing scenarios (SIT/UAT); track issues and support resolution
  • Assist with data migration activities, including mapping and validation
  • Support user readiness through training and change-related activities
  • Act as a key liaison between end users, project teams, and external partners
