About The Position

The Business Analyst serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions meet organizational needs. This role focuses on gathering and analyzing requirements, documenting business processes, and supporting data-driven decision-making. The Business Analyst helps identify opportunities for process improvement, ensures accuracy in reporting, and contributes to successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred) OR equivalent experience (required)
  • 1+ years experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, or related role. (required)
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel/PPT
  • Beginner database querying
  • Understanding of AI tools and prompting
  • Basic data visualization and data mining techniques
  • Basic project management skills
  • Basic knowledge of CRM platforms
  • Basic knowledge of corporate and LOB-specific regulatory processes including Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Federal Reserve Y-14Q reporting
  • Data collection and validation to support reporting needs
  • Introductory knowledge of investment banking and commercial real estate products, revenue drivers and deal lifecycles
  • Developing baseline understanding of business partner strategy
  • Building financial acumen

  • Limited partner interaction across bank including line of business, Finance, Risk, and Technology
  • Support senior team members as needed in data validation and analysis

  • Can provide input with addressing basic business / analytical problems and challenges
