About The Position

A+E Global Media is hiring multiple Business Analysts to support distinct areas of our enterprise technology portfolio: Enterprise Media Solutions and Rights Solutions. Each role will serve as a bridge between business and technology teams, translating operational needs into scalable solutions, clear requirements, effective testing, and sustainable process improvements. Both positions share a strong foundation in business analysis, cross-functional delivery, application and workflow support, automation, integration, and AI-enabled innovation. Candidates will be considered for the specialty that best aligns with their experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise technology solutions and business operations.
  • Media and entertainment industry experience supporting enterprise applications, operational workflows, or media technology solutions is strongly desired.
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business, functional, technical, workflow, data, and integration requirements, including use cases, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and user documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, Development, QA, Infrastructure, Project Management, vendors, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver projects and system enhancements.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise applications, system integrations, data flows, APIs, and SDLC processes, including testing, UAT, defect management, release validation, and production implementation or support.
  • Experience identifying opportunities for workflow automation, process optimization, analytics, data quality improvement, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, facilitation, documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, integrity, teamwork, and interpersonal effectiveness, including the ability to influence stakeholders across business and technical teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
  • Experience supporting media asset management, production asset management, digital asset management, post-production, archive, fulfillment, content distribution, or media supply chain workflows (for Enterprise Media Solutions role).
  • Familiarity with file-based media movement, metadata, transcoding, automated QC, captioning, content packaging, content delivery, cloud-based workflows, APIs, XML, JSON, metadata models, integrations, and workflow automation (for Enterprise Media Solutions role).
  • Basic understanding of generative AI, large language models, prompt-based workflows, AI-assisted content creation, metadata enrichment, content analysis, search, clipping, and story discovery (for Enterprise Media Solutions role).
  • Basic scripting or coding experience; Python, JavaScript, or Groovy is preferred, and PowerShell is helpful. Expert-level development experience is not required (for Enterprise Media Solutions role).
  • Experience creating workflow diagrams, SOPs, training materials, test cases, and support documentation (for Enterprise Media Solutions role).
  • Experience supporting enterprise technology solutions, business process optimization, system implementations, and operational support in the media and entertainment industry (for Rights Solutions role).
  • Knowledge of media rights, rights management systems, content licensing, rights availability, or related rights workflows is highly desirable (for Rights Solutions role).
  • Working knowledge of financial accounting concepts, data analysis, and reporting (for Rights Solutions role).
  • Hands-on experience writing and analyzing database queries using Microsoft SQL and Snowflake (for Rights Solutions role).
  • Proficiency with requirements and process documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Visio or comparable platforms (for Rights Solutions role).

Nice To Haves

  • Python, JavaScript, or Groovy scripting/coding experience (preferred for Enterprise Media Solutions role).
  • PowerShell scripting/coding experience (helpful for Enterprise Media Solutions role).
  • Knowledge of media rights, rights management systems, content licensing, rights availability, or related rights workflows (highly desirable for Rights Solutions role).
