Lazard is seeking an M&A Analyst to join the Technology team in Minneapolis, focused on Business Services. The position offers an outstanding career opportunity in investment banking with a highly successful team specializing in middle market mergers and acquisitions. In Lazard’s Technology Group, our Analysts work in a generalist capacity across a range of business-to-business (B2B) sectors, including HR & Human Capital, IT, Marketing & Media, and Facilities Services.

Requirements

• One-two years of investment banking experience or two-three years of experience in public accounting (audit or transaction advisory)
• Proven academic track record with excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
• A high level of responsiveness with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a high-quality work product
• A team player mindset; ability to work as part of a close-knit team
• Polished interpersonal skills and ability to communicate within deal teams and externally to clients
• A strong ability to multi-task

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials
• Analyze client financial and performance information
• Build financial models and conduct financial analysis
• Perform company and industry research
• Interact with both senior bankers and senior executives at clients
