About The Position

The Principal Analyst for Corporate Applications will be responsible for application configuration, maintenance and support of corporate applications solutions. This position works closely with business users, process owners, architecture and development teams to ensure effective application use while enhancing user experience, productivity and efficiency, mitigating risks, and resolving issues.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of techno-functional experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Technologies like DataSphere (or other Data Warehouse platforms, Ariba, SAP Analytics Cloud, , Supply Chain systems and other corporate applications
  • Proven ability to manage organizational change projects affecting a wide user base and large corporate systems
  • Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills
  • Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis activities
  • Provides guidance and training to less experience analysts
  • Individual contributor that is fully proficient in applying established standards; knowledge based acquired from several years of experience in particular area. Works independently; may instruct or coach other professionals
  • System availability for applications under role’s leadership.
  • Closure of P1 and P2 tickets
  • Project and agile delivery adherence

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and development/configuration for corporate applications, with a focus on the most critical (SAP S/4HANA, SAP DataSphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Ariba (or other Procure-To-Pay systems)and other Supply Chain applications.), partnering with the business, vendors and 3rd parties as applicable, utilizing Agile practices.
  • Identify and implement projects to improve the productivity of assigned Business areas.
  • Serve as a liaison between business & technology teams to ensure that its requirements are fully understood and translate business requirements into technical/executable delivery units.
  • Understand the value drivers for Vistra corporate business towers in order to inspire and achieve innovative value creation strategies.
  • Contribute to the vision and roadmap for the Finance and Accounting, HR, Legal, Compliance and Risk (all corporate functions).
  • Drive the cloud transformation projects to lower IT infrastructure costs and create additional flexibility for the business units.
  • Update/create documentation (Business Process Designs, Functional Designs)
  • Contribute to application strategy & architecture in alignment with the business
