About The Position

Epson is seeking a Business Analyst – Subscription to support its direct-to-consumer print subscription business. The role involves conducting reporting and analytical activities to ensure timely, accurate information is available to support key business areas. The Business Analyst will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to provide comprehensive analysis of subscription programs, customer lifecycles, usage, and trends to help identify opportunities, solve problems, and support sound business decisions. This position is based out of Epson America's headquarters in Los Alamitos, CA with an opportunity for a hybrid schedule.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in business analytics, business intelligence, financial analysis, forecasting, or a related analytical role
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and translate data into actionable business insights
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Power BI or similar business intelligence tools
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience analyzing and organizing complex data sets
  • Understanding of business planning, forecasting, financial metrics, and key performance indicators
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for business and executive audiences
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and consistency
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across functional teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience analyzing subscription, customer lifecycle, e-commerce, or consumer business data is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze and evaluate all relevant data for subscription programs
  • Develop and maintain PowerBI reporting and prepare value-added analyses to provide key insights into these programs
  • Prepare business reports and presentations for EAI and SEC executive teams
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide Business Planning and Forecasting support and analysis
  • Maintain competitive gap analysis for all programs
  • Prepars ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested by management
  • Builds strong relationships with peers, other departments, and managers to best meet company goals and objectives.
