Requirements

  • Strong business-IT relationship building skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and align them with business strategic objectives.
  • Experience in preparing business cases.

  • Knowledge of requirements elicitation, management, and communication methods.

  • Ability to document requirements, establish scope and objectives.
  • Experience prioritizing requirements and creating prototypes/mock-ups.
  • Knowledge of business process modeling, traceability, and quality management techniques.
  • Experience with requirements management and communication best practices.
  • Understanding of Change Management practices.
  • Experience monitoring technical team solutions.
  • Ability to manage strategy, approach, and needs of incoming projects.
  • Experience leading requirements management activities.
  • Ability to provide coaching to other BAs.
  • Experience performing and documenting quality assurance testing.
  • Experience facilitating and documenting end-user acceptance testing.
  • Accountability for Service Level Agreements.
  • Experience reviewing and monitoring business analysis effectiveness.
  • Ability to provide status reports and health metrics.
  • Availability to work after regular business hours (evenings, nights, weekends).
  • Participation in a rotational on-call schedule.
  • Availability to respond promptly to urgent issues, critical situations, and system alerts while on-call.
  • Ability to be contacted within a specified timeframe and initiate problem resolution.
  • Experience identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical problems.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building and maintaining a strong business-IT relationship with key stakeholders and leaders to enable open communication and clear expectations regarding application development delivery.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure prioritization and alignment to business strategic objectives.
  • Act as a point of escalation on active initiatives.
  • Prepares business cases working with business partners.
  • Collaborates heavily with Program Managers to initiate large projects, including resource planning, estimation, governance, approval, and kickoff.
  • Contribute to the approach for requirements elicitation and methods for requirements management and communication.
  • Ensures business opportunities and objectives are clearly articulated.
  • Performs feasibility analysis as required for projects.
  • Assists with process improvement and/or reengineering.
  • Performs requirements elicitation, using techniques per plan.
  • Documents requirements, establishes scope and objectives.
  • Prioritizes requirements working with business partners and creates conceptual prototypes and mock-ups.
  • Uses business process modeling, traceability and quality management techniques per methodology.
  • Performs requirements management and communication; apply best practices for effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Complies with Change Management practices.
  • Will take on assignments for large projects, and others as assigned.
  • Monitors the technical team solution to ensure requirements fulfillment and solution evaluation.
  • In conjunction with Program Manager and business partners, manages strategy, approach and needs of incoming projects within function.
  • Leads and coordinates activities associated with requirements management vehicles.
  • Provides coaching to other BAs assigned to projects to successfully accomplish objectives.
  • Performs and documents quality assurance testing.
  • Facilitates and documents end user acceptance testing.
  • Accountable for Service Level Agreements.
  • Reviews and monitors the effectiveness of business analysis via outcomes and lessons learned.
  • Provides status reports and health metrics to Program Manager on a regular basis.
  • Performs related work as required or as delegated by supervisor.
  • This position requires availability to work after regular business hours (evenings, nights, weekends) as needed for implementing system changes, updates, and maintenance activities.
  • The employee will participate in a rotational on-call schedule to provide technical support outside of regular business hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • While on-call, the employee must be available to respond promptly to urgent issues, critical situations, and system alerts.
  • On-call duties involve identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical problems, including system failures, security incidents, and application bugs.
