About The Position

Acentra Health is looking for a Business Analyst Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the logical design and functional behavior of solutions involving complex information systems for Provider Payments, with an Oracle Financials background. The Business Analyst Specialist will review, evaluate, and recommend solutions for various business requirements, provide fully integrated solutions, collaborate with customers and stakeholders using business modeling techniques to deliver effective operating models and roadmaps, and develop an integrated view of the solution to align projects with the strategic business vision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
  • 7+ years of business analysis or related experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience on large complex project
  • Domain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and/or healthcare verticals
  • Minimum 5+ years of business analysis experience in Healthcare Domain knowledge with strong knowledge on Medicare / Medicaid Management Information System and managing vendor receivables and payables
  • Excellent knowledge of generating Remittance Advices (835X12s).
  • Excellent customer relation skills including presentation and meeting facilitation.
  • Experience leading and mentoring team that facilitates and run customer facing requirements and design sessions.
  • Excellent requirements elicitation and validation skills, including experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in SQL.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Oracle EBS modules like Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Oracle Financials (OFIN)
  • Knowledge of data integration and software enhancements/planning.

  • Possesses in-depth knowledge and is well-versed in multiple functions or capabilities.
  • Lead team in applying in-depth healthcare Provider Enrollment, Maintenance and Screening; Claims and encounter, Member Eligibility & Enrollment, or Managed Care domain knowledge to review and analyze systems problems to ensure high quality.
  • Escalate issues and risks to manager and assists in developing solutions.
  • Facilitates proposal development by providing technical solution write-ups and pricing estimates.
  • Acts as the requirements subject matter expert and supports requirements change management.
  • Keeps abreast of new technology and market developments (including federal regulations) and support the adoption of new technologies and tools to improve quality of business solutioning and related deliverables.
  • Identify gaps and deviation within product versus customer business requirements.
  • Evaluate requirements, transform requirements to system functional requirements and business process requirements.
  • Collaborate with Solution/Technical Architect, Business Analyst, Technical lead, and stakeholders translate Business and System functional requirements to implementable components.
  • Identify potential system impacts due to proposed system function implementation.
  • Determine optimized solution by conducting Decision Analysis and Resolution on possible solutions.
  • Develop Prototype, Proof of Concept, wireframe models to demonstrate solution as applicable.
  • Identifies areas for process improvement to improve quality and optimize cost.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.
