As a Business Analyst Senior within PNC's Retail Banking Operations - Debit Card organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH. Other locations may be considered within PNC’s footprint based on experience. The scope of Retail Bank Operations is impressively broad and encompasses a wide range of critical functions. These include managing the cash needs for our branch and ATM networks, printing and mailing important bank documents, and handling both inbound and outbound collections for home lending, automobile, and card services. Additionally, Retail Bank Operations focuses on loan mitigation and investor operations, developing process improvement and automation opportunities, overseeing the daily processing of cash and check deposits, bill payments, and executes strategic quality management functions. We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Debit Card Business Analyst to support and drive key initiatives within our card services organization. This role is responsible for leading projects, partnering across teams, and ensuring operational excellence in debit card programs, vendor management, and risk controls. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable outcomes.

Requirements

Experience in a Business Analyst role preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the organization, execution, and implementation of select projects, ensuring successful delivery from concept through deployment.
Serve as a Business Analyst within an Agile team, utilizing Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.
Develop epics, user stories, and validation plans; actively participate in testing and validation activities, including occasional evening and weekend support.
Conduct research and analysis to assess the impact of proposed changes, create comprehensive project plans, and break down large initiatives into manageable, actionable workstreams.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive initiatives forward and oversee end-to-end change implementation.
Serve as PIN Key Custodian and lead Archer issue resolution efforts.
Execute Application Owner and backup responsibilities as assigned.
Manage card inventory, including oversight of daily Card Hold and Reject Reports.
Administer Fiserv card embossing CIN table updates and ensure all controls are executed effectively.
Act as liaison with external vendors, including: Giesecke+Devrient (G&D): plastic card production, Fiserv: card embossing, processor changes, transaction processing, and troubleshooting, Visa: project implementation, security access, and transaction processing support.
Partner with internal stakeholders, including University Banking, to support card program changes and enhancements.
Execute controls, support audits, and contribute to strengthening overall risk management practices.
Support operational activities such as emergency card orders (ICI), shared inbox management, escalation resolution, and transaction research.
Maintain and apply working knowledge of Fiserv PCF settings.
Participate in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity activities, including after-hours support as needed.
Directs in the research, discovery, collection and interpretation of business requirements, and participates in the development and review of processes and procedures, workflow analytics, and reporting.
Provides consultation to clients on business designs, problem solving and business analysis to support project management.
Develops and maintains of all applicable policy and procedure documentation.
Independently obtains and identifies the business requirements needed to carry out and improve applicable business processes.
Provides expertise and problem-solving for clients and technology teams throughout the business analysis process.
Translates business needs, processes and/or procedures by partnering with applicable experts and business stakeholders to determine and articulate needs.
May communicate with stakeholders and technology teams on moderately complex business requirements, provides gap analysis and facilitates future business process modeling for clients.
Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
