About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with a focus on Quality Assurance (QA) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our products and services by analyzing business requirements, defining test cases, and coordinating QA activities throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

Proven experience as a business analyst or quality assurance analyst in a software development environment.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts
Experience with QA tools and technologies such as Jira, shortcut, or similar tools
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, business administration, or related field preferred.
Certifications in business analysis or quality assurance are a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and user stories
Translate business requirements into clear and detailed test cases, acceptance criteria, and test plans
Work closely with development teams to ensure a thorough understanding of system functionality and requirements.
Execute test cases, identify defects, and track issues to resolution, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
Participate in sprint planning, review meetings, and retrospectives to provide input on quality-related aspects of the project.
Maintain and update documentation related to test cases, test results, and QA processes
Provide support and training to end users and stakeholders on quality assurance processes and best practices.
Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure successful project delivery.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align development efforts with overall business objectives.
