About The Position

Eaton Corporation’s Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division is currently seeking a Business Analyst, Product Standards. This is a hybrid position that is based at the Syracuse, NY facility. The expected annual salary range for this role is $69000 - $101000 a year. The Product Standards Business Analyst will support initiatives focused on customer and business requirements by performing analytical activities on GEIS products within the SAP and Enovia business systems. The position will champion solutions to meet the overall objectives of our customers in a timely manner while working with internal teams focused on continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to build Excel pivot tables and macros
  • Knowledge of database tables to navigate and manage structured data
  • Highly detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all work
  • Communicate effectively and translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations that enable timely and accurate solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform business system activities focused on the creation and maintenance of master and product data elements including material masters, bills of materials, and routing.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and convert into business system models to create master and product data elements (e.g. material masters, BOMs, routings).
  • Assist in the data discover to correct erroneous data within the SAP and Enovia business systems, including creating new data to support the customer and business requirements.
  • Collect, analyze, interpret and summarize business data for internal and external customer requests using statistical and analytical methodologies and reports.
  • Assist internal stakeholders with daily SAP/PDH/Enovia business system request.
  • Partner with the GEIS manufacturing plants to help resolve business data and process-related issues.
  • Manage up to medium-level complexity projects using critical thinking skills to find the best solutions to meet the needs of the project and the business.
