The Reingold Internship Program offers interns the opportunity to discover what it means to work for a full-service communications agency, learn department specifics, work as a valued team member, and collaborate with experts. Interns can tailor their experience to their interests while working on meaningful causes. This specific internship is for a Business Analyst Intern to support a portfolio of research and program evaluation projects at the intersection of health care and government, including workforce training and change management efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • At least 2 years of work experience, which can include a combination of internships and certain part-time employment
  • Proficiency in Excel, including nested formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, graphs, and slicers.
  • Ability to summarize and visualize data in Excel and PowerPoint graph tools.
  • Passion for using data and evaluation to measure impact.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on streamlining business processes.
  • Desire to participate in frequent business meetings, including with clients.
  • Basic understanding of evaluation plans and performance metrics.
  • Comfort working with unstructured data sets, including data cleaning and basic transformations.
  • Aptitude and passion for learning new technologies and taking initiative.
  • Ability to receive and incorporate peer feedback effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete work independently and efficiently.
  • Critical thinking skills, with a mindset for both the big picture and the small details.
  • Strong organizational skills, including a reputation for being extremely detail-oriented.

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Tableau, Blackboard, SharePoint, Monday.com.
  • Coursework in business administration or marketing, in addition to technical focus.

  • Experience maintaining and refreshing data dashboards.
  • An interest in education or health care.
  • Exposure to advanced AI/data science concepts (e.g., ML workflows, model training, prompt design, automation)
  • Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Support the project team with Excel-based data analysis.
  • Support the project team with various day-to-day communications and project management tasks, such as drafting materials for clients, developing schedules, conducting research, and notetaking.
  • Help document the business requirements for new dashboards, data reports, and automations.
  • Produce first drafts of reports, data visualizations, and documentation materials, and incorporate internal and external feedback as advised.
  • Actively collaborate on data projects across a team of account managers, technologists, and designers.
  • Help distill and present technical concepts in easy-to-understand language for unfamiliar audiences.
  • Shadow developers, project managers, and analysts to learn how to translate requirements into technical solutions.
