About The Position

The Business Analyst team focuses on the strategy, growth, and performance of Robinhood's credit products, collaborating with product, engineering, risk, and operations to achieve sustainable business growth through deep analytical rigor. The Business Analyst Intern will be embedded within a team in the Money and Growth organization for 12 weeks, gaining direct exposure to key metrics, stakeholders, and strategic priorities. Interns will own real work from day one and develop essential analytical and cross-functional skills. Top performers may receive an offer for an 18-month rotational Business Analyst program after graduation. This role is based in the Washington, DC office, requiring at least 3 days per week in-person attendance, as Robinhood values in-person collaboration for progress, innovation, and community building.

Requirements

• Experience or coursework in business analysis, strategy, management consulting, financial services, or a quantitative analytical role
• Strong proficiency in SQL and quantitative modeling techniques
• Ability to synthesize complex quantitative findings into clear, actionable recommendations for cross-functional partners
• Fluency with AI tools, with a genuine interest in staying current as the tools evolve
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field, with an expected graduation date of Spring/Summer 2028

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on with a specific business area within Money and Growth, working directly with product, engineering, risk, or operations stakeholders on live priorities
• Analyze business performance metrics and economic drivers to identify growth opportunities and optimize business outcomes
• Structure and solve complex, ambiguous problems across product strategy, pricing, user segmentation, and risk-return trade-offs
• Partner with engineering, product, risk, and finance teams to execute key strategic initiatives and monitor program efficacy
• Develop analytical models, dashboards, and presentations to inform decision-making and influence business direction
