About The Position

The Business Analyst Intern, Supply Chain supports Supply Chain teams by assisting with data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in supply chain operations, analytics, and business systems while developing foundational technical and business skills. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Procurement, IT, Manufacturing, and Customer Service. This internship is intended to provide meaningful, hands-on experience and professional development opportunities. Responsibilities will scale based on skill level and progress throughout the internship.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, MIS, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment.
  • Interest in supply chain operations and technology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
  • Prior internship, coursework, or projects involving data analysis or reporting preferred.
  • Exposure to tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in updating and maintaining dashboards (e.g., Tableau or Power BI) under guidance from team members.
  • Support creation of basic reports and data visualizations.
  • Help collect, organize, and validate data for analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Participate in team meetings to learn business processes and workflows.
  • Assist with documenting business processes and updating standard operating procedures.
  • Support gathering and documenting business requirements for process or system improvements.
  • Assist in testing system changes by executing test cases and documenting results.
  • Help prepare training materials and support communication of system or process updates.
  • Assist in maintaining end-user documentation and job aids.
  • Support tracking of project progress and key performance metrics.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting support for applications and escalate issues as needed.
