The Enterprise IT Business Analyst III is responsible for understanding the business goals and processes of Texas Tech departments. This role involves documenting business processes, acting as a liaison between central IT and functional departments, supporting software applications, and managing business analyst projects. The position also includes collecting and analyzing data, assisting with software implementation and configuration, and suggesting process improvements through automation. The IT Business Analyst will document project definitions and business needs for programming staff. This enterprise position is within central IT Division areas reporting to the institutional CIO and may interface with key IT and functional leadership from Texas Tech University System institutions. The role will coordinate new projects and ongoing support for the Electronic Health Record (EHR) for the dental clinic and simulation lab, and other related applications. Responsibilities include identifying software implementation/modification requirements for dental school and clinic technology, monitoring issues, and coordinating training and support for end-users on the EHR and other clinical/simulation lab applications. The IT Business Analyst will also provide telephone assistance for software-related issues and collaborate with other IT areas for solutions. Availability during off-hours is required, as are current licensure, certifications, and compliance training. Adherence to all policies and procedures is mandatory.
