Business Analyst III - Finance Domain
About The Position
Seeking an experienced Business Analyst III to support enterprise reporting modernization, analytics initiatives, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) programs within a highly regulated banking environment. This role combines Business Analysis, Stakeholder Management, Power BI Modernization, Data Analysis, and Cross-Functional Collaboration to improve reporting efficiency, streamline data ecosystems, and enhance operational visibility. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Power BI dashboard development, requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, reporting optimization, and executive reporting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Business Analysis, Reporting, or Analytics experience.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience facilitating meetings and driving discussions.
- Strong understanding of reporting and data visualization best practices.
- Experience working within SDLC and project delivery environments.
Nice To Haves
- Financial Services or Banking experience.
- Familiarity with Identity & Access Management concepts.
- Experience with: SAML, OAuth, OIDC, MFA, PAM.
- Experience supporting reporting modernization initiatives.
- Exposure to Data Governance frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Assess and modernize enterprise Power BI environments.
- Identify: Redundant Datasets, Inefficient Dashboards, Underutilized Data Sources, Reporting Bottlenecks.
- Redesign reports using Power BI best practices.
- Build executive-level dashboards and operational reports.
- Improve: Reporting Performance, Scalability, Usability, Governance Standards.
- Collaborate with technical teams to optimize data models and refresh strategies.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into: Functional Requirements, User Stories, Technical Specifications.
- Conduct: Gap Analysis, Workflow Analysis, Process Improvement Reviews.
- Serve as liaison between business and technical teams.
- Lead: Discovery Sessions, Working Sessions, Status Meetings, Stakeholder Reviews.
- Coordinate project activities and track progress.
- Identify risks and escalate issues proactively.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership teams.
- Support Identity & Access Management initiatives.
- Assist with projects involving: Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), OAuth, SAML, OIDC.
- Evaluate security tool integrations and reporting capabilities.
- Support IAM roadmap and modernization initiatives.
- Support reporting and analytics platform enhancements.
- Participate in: Legacy System Modernization, Monitoring Improvements, Tool Enhancements, Technical Documentation.
- Research emerging technologies and reporting best practices.
- Mentor junior analysts and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
