About The Position

Serve as an intermediary between business and technical areas. Work with internal and external teams to collect, clarify, and translate business and/or technical requirements. Develop applications and solutions. This role consistently makes strong contributions to projects and team efforts, possesses knowledge of the business side, and contributes to strategic decisions. The Business Analyst II facilitates workshops and advanced requirements gathering sessions, identifies areas for process improvement, and recommends innovative solutions. They lead the design, testing, and validation of sophisticated tools and processes, and serve as the division expert in business analyst best practices, tools, and methodologies. Responsibilities include ensuring appropriate visibility and communication regarding projects/solutions, collecting feedback for issues and improvements, and ensuring all documents are complete and stored appropriately. The role also involves demonstrating guiding principles, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and potentially performing comparable duties or assisting in other areas as needed. Additionally, the position requires learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years related experience, or experience in lieu of education.
  • Understanding of repeated queries via scripting, stored procedures, or other automation techniques expected.
  • Basic understanding of data models, data flow, and system design.
  • Specific experience in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel features, etc., required.

Nice To Haves

  • Business Analysis certification or formal training preferred.
