About The Position

This position involves performing various analyses and interpretations to align business needs and objectives for an assigned function. The role supports business initiatives through data analysis, identifying implementation barriers, and conducting user acceptance testing for new systems. Key responsibilities include identifying and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to enhance existing processes. The Business Analyst II will conduct detailed analysis on assigned projects, propose potential business solutions, and assist with their implementation. The role also focuses on enhancing performance management and operational reports related to new business implementation processes, developing and integrating organizational best practices into business applications, and leading problem-solving and coordination efforts across various business units. Additionally, the position assists in formulating and updating departmental policies and procedures, and performs other assigned duties while complying with all policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of business process analysis, preferably healthcare (i.e. documenting business process, gathering requirements) or claims payment/analysis experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of managed care information systems and experience in benefits, pricing, contracting or claims preferred.
  • Knowledge of provider reimbursement methodologies preferred.
  • Previous structured testing experience preferred.
  • Experience using Amisys system, Excel, Cenprov, Cenpas and Golden queries is preferred.
