About The Position

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst II to join our team! The Business Analyst II assists in the alignment of efforts with the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) to support strategic initiatives across the organization. This role involves eliciting, analyzing, specifying, and validating business needs for medium to large projects. Key responsibilities include interviewing stakeholders and sponsors, compiling requirements, and conveying them to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent healthcare-related experience required.
  • 4 years of experience with business and technical analysis, requirements elicitation, and process documentation required.
  • 2 years healthcare or pharmacy benefits industry practices and HIPAA knowledge required.
  • Core software applications, including MS Teams, Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
  • Experience within both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Project management & development cycle tools (ADO, PPM Pro).
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees

Responsibilities

  • Lead Business Analyst on single threaded strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate brainstorming & requirement sessions efficiently and effectively with internal business partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Define and document business requirements, ensuring proper signoffs from business sponsors.
  • Create or update business process flow models, diagrams, and charts for each business process impacted by assigned projects.
  • Gather and document information throughout the project lifecycle with a focus on effective sharing and storage, to alleviate the burden on our business partners and ensure accessibility for all stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure system enhancements meet deliverables.
  • Manage issue and defect requests, ensuring timely resolution for assigned projects.
  • Other duties as assigned
