About The Position

Centene is seeking a Business Analyst II to join their team. This role involves performing various analyses and interpretations to link business needs and objectives for assigned functions. The Business Analyst II will establish and maintain centralized repositories for key documents, governance artifacts, and portfolio materials. They will also support CIO-level coordination, including meeting cadence, action tracking, and follow-ups across teams. Additionally, this role will assist in the development of executive presentations, reporting materials, and dashboards to improve communication and transparency, ensuring consistency and structure in documentation, templates, and governance processes across the Medicaid portfolio. The Business Analyst II will enable senior program and governance leaders to focus on higher-value activities, including strategic planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment. This position supports business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers, and user acceptance testing of new systems. The role involves identifying and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes, performing detailed analysis on assigned projects, recommending potential business solutions, and assisting with implementation. The Business Analyst II will identify ways to enhance performance management and operational reports related to new business implementation processes, develop and incorporate organizational best practices into business applications, and lead problem-solving and coordination efforts between various business units. The role also includes assisting with formulating and updating departmental policies and procedures and performing other duties as assigned while complying with all policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of business process or data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Strong SQL experience preferred.
