About The Position

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks a Business Analyst II- Cloud Transformation to conduct various types of research and analysis to support business operations. This role will assist management in resolving business issues, designing, documenting, and re-engineering business processes, and publishing business metrics results. The analyst will perform analyses of business goals, objectives, and needs, and present findings. Responsibilities include planning and designing business processes, identifying and implementing best practices, calculating costs and benefits of alternative solutions, developing recommendations, analyzing and documenting business processes and metrics, and training internal employees on changes. The role also involves performing special projects, and providing coaching to less experienced business analysts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Working with macros, nested formulas, APIs, and data visualization in Excel.
  • Creating scripts utilizing services including Optical Character Recognition in Python.
  • Pricing AZURE and AWS services, required for the creation of hosted environments including Virtual Machines, Paired Regions, Multiple Availability Zones, Connectivity, Storage Types, and Data Transfers.
  • Working with Jira Agile management tools.
  • Following Project Management processes to identify areas of improvement when analyzing data and metrics.
  • Master’s degree in the above listed fields and one (1) year of experience in the above listed skills.

  • Train internal employees on changes to business practices, processes or procedures.
  • Perform special projects upon request.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced business analysts.
