Requirements
- 4+ years Financial, Product, Sales, Service or systems experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of or actively pursuing a process improvement certification (Six Sigma or Z-Lean Yellow Belt or higher)
- General knowledge of insurance loss, expense and growth
- Demonstrated ability to partner successfully with cross functional technical and business teams
- Effective communication both formal, informal, written and verbal
- Facilitation and Analytical Skills
- Able to take part in meetings and discussions and give information about own area of expertise
- Able to compose memos, simple letters and texts
- Works on projects/programs of medium/high complexity (impact to multiple business units/applications)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Life underwriting experience preferred
- May require occasional traveling
Responsibilities
- Serves as a liaison between the Business and IT to provide solution to their business needs
- Understands customers objectives, processes, and products as well as the business systems capabilities
- Supports Customers with cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, scope definition
- Supports users in building business case
- Performs impact analysis
- Supports application testing, implementation and training activities
- Leads individual or sub project tasks affecting single or multiple business and IT departments
- Oversees business requirement gathering and analysis
- Supports work request prioritization
- Develops business requirements through analysis on business activities, industry trends and sponsor requests
- Works with business sponsor to define project scope
- Performs impact analysis of business process changes/enhancements across the organization
- Assists with cost/benefit analysis
- Supports users in building Business Case and development of a high level plan
- Acts as liaison between Business Sponsors and IT staff
- Supports application testing, implementation, and training activities
- Performs quality review checks on project deliverables
- Understands customers objectives, processes, and products in order to make educated recommendations
