About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Acquisition Management Branch (AMB) for the Portfolio Resource Management Division (PRMD). This role involves processing hardware/software packages, reviewing requirements, generating reports, and coordinating with program managers. The Business Analyst will also conduct market research, review Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) against vendor quotes, and provide recommendations to the government. Additionally, the role supports AMB PRMD taskers, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), and other administrative tasks.

  • Ability to multitask and perform administrative tasks in support of AMB PRMD
  • 5+ years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD. 9 years of experience with HS diploma
  • Ability to obtain and maintain public trust
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Attention to detail is critical to ensure proper review and processing of contract packages following processes, established standards and templates.
  • Strong communication, professional writing and ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with contract acquisition, hardware/software inventory, licensing, contract, maintenance, IT tracking and/or business analysis preferred
  • IT experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Process hardware/software packages coming from Lifecycle Management for PRMD.
  • Review/validate requirements, RVDC, and follow up with customers as necessary.
  • Generate reports, monitor status, update ITSM tickets, monitor calendar events, and provide critical updates to Government leadership when appropriate.
  • Update action statuses via the Procurement Action Tracker, ServiceNow, and other databases/tools as necessary.
  • Coordinate with program and project managers from various Directorates within the Defense Health Agency on hardware/software packages to ensure requirements are valid and follow up on maintenance and cost.
  • Review Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) and compare them to quotes received by vendors.
  • Provide recommendations to the government on whether the EBOM and the quote are technically acceptable.
  • Conduct market research as necessary to determine cost estimates or as requested by the Government.
  • Support AMB PRDM taskers, IGCEs, and other administrative tasks as assigned for AMB PRMD.
