As a Data Conversions Business Analyst, you would be responsible for supporting the workflow specific to the data conversion of member data from one system to another. Will be accountable for pulling crosswalk data files for timely and accurate submission to business partners to have data ready for client effective dates. You will also be responsible for backing up the person who assigns work to the team, assisting with training and attending business partner meetings. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or Healthcare experience in an operational role
  • 1+ years of analysis experience with a solid understanding of data storage and data manipulation
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in RxClaim
  • Demonstrated ability of solid written and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to work overtime, if needed, during peak season

  • Experience in creating viable operational solutions in a cross-functional forum
  • Experience using Copilot
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in ServiceNow
  • Relevant operations and/or pharmacy operations experience

Responsibilities

  • Establish productive, professional, and collaborative relationships with business partners, as well as members of the internal Optum team
  • Understand source data and create crosswalk mapping files that accurately capture the member data specific to the conversion request
  • Meet established dates to achieve data conversions for client effective dates
  • Work with conversion management, team, and business partners to manage client expectations and receive approvals of crosswalk documents
  • Contribute to standard data conversion process, tools, and methodologies to ensure consistency
  • Assist with the enhancement of processes within the team
  • Ad-hoc project assistance, as needed
  • Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analysis
