About The Position

Trident Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst – Customer Enrollment & Billing Operations for one of our clients in Irwindale, CA-Hybrid (Wed & Thu). This role is with a global leader in business and technology services. The primary responsibilities include performing eligibility checks for potential customers for a Flexible Pricing Rate Pilot, managing customer enrollment and payment operations, receiving and validating enrollment forms, submitting eligible customers to third-party suppliers, and confirming enrollment status to internal stakeholders. The Business Analyst will also serve as a subject matter expert for the pilot's automated enrollment and billing platform, pull and validate data, work with third-party providers to report bugs and implement enhancements, and oversee manual enrollment processes. Additionally, the role involves maintaining detailed enrollment metrics, tracking billing status, managing manual customer payments, facilitating payments to contractors, monitoring and compensating third parties for customer recruitment performance, and preparing related reports.

Requirements

Proficiency with analytical tools such as Excel, Access, or similar tools for tracking and reporting.
Ability to understand and conduct payment processing and reconciliation.
Ability to follow and improve business processes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to validate information on forms.
Experience with manual data entry.
Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle high-volume tasks during ramp-up periods.
Four or more years of experience in business analysis.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline

Nice To Haves

Experience with customer programs and billing in a utility or similarly regulated environment.
Familiarity with SAP billing and/or payment systems.
Experience with advanced analytical tools such as SAS, Power BI, or similar tools.
Experience working with budgets.
Experience creating and using pivot tables, charts, and graphs.
Ability to work with large datasets, including data for several hundred thousand accounts.
Proficiency in identifying trends in complex data and developing data-driven solutions.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Perform eligibility checks for potential customers for Client's Flexible Pricing Rate Pilot.
Manage customer enrollment and payment operations.
Receive and validate enrollment forms from account managers.
Submit eligible customers to third-party suppliers for enrollment.
Confirm enrollment status to internal stakeholders.
Serve as a subject matter expert for the pilot's automated enrollment and billing platform.
Pull data from the platform and ensure data accuracy.
Work with third-party platform providers to report bugs/errors, implement enhancements, and maintain the system.
Oversee manual enrollment processes for Automation Service Providers.
Maintain detailed enrollment metrics, including number of customers, MW enrolled, and benefiters vs. non-benefiters.
Track billing status and manage manual customer payments.
Facilitate payments to contractors and other third parties.
Monitor and compensate third parties for their performance in recruiting customers.
Prepare and maintain reporting related to customer enrollment, billing, and payments.
