About The Position

For the FAS project, there is a need for a full-time Business Analyst/Change Management Analyst to support the FAS DDI deliverables processing and approvals/rejections from the FAS vendor and deliverables from all other MES vendors impacted by FAS DDI. This includes ensuring the quality of transfer, storage, and processing of associated deliverables using version control to/from MES vendors, internal development teams, SMEs, and other contracted companies. This position is responsible for maintaining databases, tracking logs, and project deliverable files; generating and/or posting recurring/ad-hoc status reports and providing responses and data to project inquiries from management and staff. This position assists and works closely with the Information Management and PMO teams, DMAS SME community, along with the MES vendors. The role requires the ability to process new requests for deliverables and design documents in a timely manner, logging them and pushing them to SMEs & PMs for next steps. The analyst will work directly with Vendors that provide modules/products for the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) and will also be responsible for processing MES O&M requests/deliverables. A structured methodology will be applied to lead change management activities, developing strong, credible relationships with all stakeholders. The analyst will serve as a key central IT point of contact with the Change Management team, ensuring project deliverable documents are stored and maintained correctly, acting as the program librarian. They will be a key resource for project reporting and coordination and participate in all stages of the Systems Development Life Cycle.

Requirements

  • Considerable work-related knowledge and experience with Change and Release Management methodologies using version control.
  • Considerable work-related knowledge and experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle.
  • Experience with data entry and work order processing.
  • Experience with tracking and reporting; controlling processes; and managing workflow.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills with internal and external customers.
  • Must know common IT verbiage such as design docs, test plans, and work plans.
  • Must be professional with strong analytical and people management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support Design, Development and Implementation (DDI) Project(s) within the Change Management Office.
  • Support processing of MES O&M requests/deliverables.
  • Process new requests for deliverables and design documents in a timely manner.
  • Log and push deliverables to SMEs & PMs for next steps.
  • Work directly with Vendors that provide modules/products for the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES).
  • Process MES O&M requests/deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Project Team members, management, SMEs, and vendors to ensure alignment with key cross-functional project request/deliverable activities.
  • Align with the Project Management Office on change management work streams and related activities.
  • Work closely with program/project management to ensure smooth transition and awareness of release prior to deployment.
  • Complete change management requirements/tasks.
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities.
  • Develops strong, credible relationships with all stakeholders.
