About The Position

This is a full-time Business Analyst/Change Management Analyst role supporting the FAS DDI project and other ongoing DDI projects. The primary responsibilities include processing and tracking deliverables, managing requests for changes to the MES System, and ensuring timely processing of design documents. The role involves pushing deliverables to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Project Managers (PMs) for next steps. This is not an administrative role. The position supports Design, Development, and Implementation (DDI) projects within the Change Management Office, including processing MES O&M requests/deliverables. Key activities include maintaining databases, tracking logs, and project deliverable files, generating status reports, and responding to project inquiries. The analyst will collaborate with Information Management, PMO teams, DMAS SMEs, and MES vendors. A strong understanding of IT terminology such as design docs, test plans, and work plans is essential. The role requires working directly with vendors of the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) and ensuring smooth transitions and awareness of releases prior to deployment. The analyst will also complete change management requirements, apply a structured methodology, lead change management activities, and develop strong stakeholder relationships. Serving as a key central IT point of contact for the Change Management team and acting as a program librarian for documentation are also key functions. The position participates in all stages of the Project(s) Systems Development Life cycle.

Requirements

  • Considerable work-related knowledge and experience with Change and Release Management methodologies using version control (5 Years)
  • Considerable work-related knowledge and experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle (5 Years)
  • Experience with data entry and work order processing (5 Years)
  • Experience with tracking and reporting; controlling processes; and managing workflow (5 Years)
  • Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills with internal and external customers (5 Years)

Nice To Haves

  • Considerable work-related experience in an IT environment (5 Years)
  • Experience in healthcare

Responsibilities

  • Support Design, Development and Implementation (DDI) Project(s) within the Change Management Office.
  • Support processing of MES O&M requests/deliverables.
  • Process new requests for deliverables and design docs in a timely manner.
  • Log in and push deliverables to SMEs & to PMs for next steps.
  • Work directly with Vendors that provide the modules/products that make up Medicaid Enterprise System (MES).
  • Process MES O&M requests/deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Project Team members, management, SMEs, and vendors to ensure alignment with key cross functional project request/deliverable activities.
  • Align with the Project Management Office the change management work streams and related activities.
  • Work closely with program/project management to ensure smooth transition and awareness of release prior to deployment.
  • Complete change management requirements/tasks.
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities.
  • Develops strong, credible relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Serve as key central IT point of contact with Change Management team.
  • Ensure project deliverable documents are stored and maintained in project folders.
  • Act as the program librarian to ensure that all program/project documentation is filed and versioned correctly.
  • Serve as a key resource for project reporting and coordination.
  • Participate in all stages of the Project(s) Systems Development Life cycle.
