About The Position
This role is for a Business Analyst with a focus on government IT projects, specifically within the healthcare and Medicaid sectors. The analyst will be responsible for eliciting, mining, and documenting business rules and processes. The position requires the candidate to have their own equipment, as Lumen and its clients will not provide laptops or monitors. Access to a virtual desktop will be provided for system and technology access.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or healthcare field
- 5 years of experience in government IT projects as a Business Analyst or in related duties
- 3 years of Medicaid or healthcare experience
- Understanding of business modeling techniques, including the use of graphical process flow software
Nice To Haves
- General subject matter expertise related to Medicaid or other healthcare insurance experience (project or operations)
- MMIS experience (project or operations)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Project/Project Server
