About The Position

Continuing to invest in and expand its Business Advisory Services (Client) practice and is seeking experienced accounting and advisory professionals who enjoy working directly with business owners and helping clients move beyond traditional compliance. This is an opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to play a meaningful role in helping clients understand their financial performance, improve business operations, and make informed strategic decisions. We are open to candidates at multiple experience levels, with a particular interest in strong Senior- and Manager-level professionals who are ready to grow their careers in a client-facing advisory environment. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting and financial reporting fundamentals with the ability to communicate financial information in a way that business owners can easily understand and act upon.

Requirements

Experienced professionals with a background in accounting, financial reporting, client advisory, or related business services.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
Several years of progressive accounting or financial experience.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with month-end close processes.
Experience working with QuickBooks.
Ability to analyze financial statements and explain financial information to non-accounting professionals.
Experience working directly with business owners, executives, or clients.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple client priorities and deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
A consultative mindset and genuine interest in helping businesses improve and grow.
Manager-level candidates may have experience leading client engagements, managing accounting/advisory relationships, reviewing financial work, mentoring team members, or serving as a strategic financial resource for business owners.

Nice To Haves

CPA designation is valued but not required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted accounting and business advisor to privately held businesses and their owners.
Work directly with clients to understand their financial, operational, and business needs.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports.
Support and/or oversee month-end close processes.
Analyze financial results, trends, cash flow, profitability, and key business metrics.
Help clients understand what their financial information means and how it can be used to make better business decisions.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, financial efficiencies, and stronger internal controls.
Assist business owners with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and other advisory needs.
Provide ongoing accounting and financial guidance beyond traditional compliance services.
Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting technologies to support client engagements.
Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and become a trusted resource for their businesses.
Collaborate with other professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
Depending on experience level, provide leadership, mentorship, and review of work performed by other team members.

Annual Profit Sharing: Typically 8%–10% of base salary, paid each January.
