About The Position

Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Business Administrator. This role is based in Westminster, MD. The expected annual salary range for this role is $69000 - $101000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a customer facing role.
  • Minimum of two (2) years negotiating experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 70-mile radius of Westminster, MD will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers at multiple levels.
  • Perform basic negotiations including pricing, delivery schedule and standard order requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive deliverables and high-level solutions.
  • Conduct scheduled business reviews (weekly, monthly, quarterly) often presenting on deliveries, mods schedule changes and recovery plans.
  • Coordinate with operations to verify lead time, customer schedule needs and special requests.
  • Manage LTA, MY and PO mods through the COSR review process and scheduling.
  • Process returns material authorizations, credits and authorize warranty.
  • Manage order backlog for accuracy.
  • Manage customer portals and utilized customer software.
  • RFQ, price quote and order entry of key customer orders in Sales Force and ERP.
  • Provide quote support along with inputs to Small Business plans.
  • Act as the ‘voice of the customer’ and encourage team behaviors that focus on adding value and delivering customer benefits.
  • May act as lead or represent function on RCCA, site CI projects, customer or finance audits.
  • Research AR payment issues
  • Support key performance indicator metrics.
  • Ensure that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of their everyday activities.
  • Complete other duties, as assigned.
