About The Position

Constellation seeks a Business/Administrative Analyst to join the Homeland Security team in Washington, DC for 5 days per week. This onsite role combines traditional data-driven process improvement with the hands-on management of office facilities and government equipment; ensuring that staff across multiple field offices have the space, supplies, and tools necessary to function, while maintaining rigorous internal controls via a PowerApps tracking system. The Business/Administrative Analyst will provide administrative and operational support within the office, with a focus on physically handling, transporting, and organizing government assets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resource management, or related field.
  • Ability to lift and carry items typically weighing up to 5–15 pounds.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience with tracking tools such as Power Apps as an end user.
  • Minimum of four years proven experience as a government consultant or support contractor collecting, analyzing, preparing, and presenting data to senior government leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and for our client understanding their needs and work in a face paced dynamic environment
  • Be a U.S. citizen able to pass a background investigation by the client agency. DHS clearance with CBP/ICE, or DoD Top-Secret preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain real-time accuracy of all government assets using a PowerApps tracker, ensuring data integrity for audit purposes.
  • Develop analytical methods and tools to evaluate and integrate data from various sources to assess and recommend solutions to assigned problems.
  • Provide general administrative support to senior leadership, including filing, data entry, scheduling, and correspondence.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of high-value IT assets, including the procurement, inventory, and secure issuance of laptops and mobile phones, while utilizing specialized tracking software and a PowerApps tracker to monitor software licensing and ensure 100% accountability of all assigned equipment.
  • Coordinate and assist with the movement of government assets, including office equipment, supplies, and materials.
  • Use tools like Power BI, Tableau or other visualization software to synthesize the information and assist senior executives in making decisions.
  • Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
  • Deliver schedule management and milestone tracking for various customer projects utilizing strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Apply oral and written communication expertise to develop project deliverables, including analysis of plans, written reports, briefing slides, and discussions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Support studies and meetings; document and compile notes; analyze data; develop guides, standard operating procedures, trackers, and publications, one pager, facts sheets, etc.
