About The Position

Kids in the Game is seeking a Business Administration intern to support their Marketing and Customer Experience teams. This role reports to the Director of Customer Experience and assists the Marketing Coordinator. The intern will engage with the community, customers, and internal team, focusing on cultivating positive relationships and implementing forward-thinking strategies. The position involves public interaction, private customer communication, and internal team collaboration. Kids in the Game is a Certified B Corporation dedicated to positive impact through sports and enrichment programs for children in New York City.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective customers via phone calls, emails, and scheduled events.
  • Analyze repeat inquiries to improve response practices and reduce confusion.
  • Establish best practices for customer service protocols.
  • Utilize and master registration, CRM, and project management platforms.
  • Stay updated on program calendar and new program details to anticipate customer questions.
  • Assist with customer support processes, including payment processing, form collection, and health records.
  • Conduct market research through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and on-site observation, and analyze reports.
  • Connect with the internal Kids in the Game team to ensure all stakeholders have necessary information.
