About The Position

Join the University of Florida as a Business Administration Specialist, supporting the Division of Enrollment Management through essential fiscal, security, and administrative operations. In this role, you’ll ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient processing across multiple units while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Process financial activities for state, auxiliary, gift/grant, foundation, and concession accounts totaling several million annually.
  • Coordinate purchases, travel authorizations and reimbursements, vendor payments, deposits, transcript and application fees, reconciliations, and cash boxes.
  • Input and retrieve information in university financial systems, including requisitions, purchase orders, vendor payments, deposits, travel authorizations, and expense reports.
  • Analyze, interpret, and apply relevant policies, and recommend operational improvements when appropriate.
  • Maintain financial records and provide periodic reports.
  • Assist with developing and justifying operating budget requests.
  • Provide administrative support for the Finance team, serving as primary point of contact.
  • Handle document creation and editing and file organization as needed.
  • Participate in business process reviews and stay informed of changes.
  • Collaborate with team members to address regulatory, compliance, and technology updates.
  • Serve as a Department Security Administrator, managing myUFL access and roles.
  • Review access routinely and certify authorizations.
  • Remove access as needed for employee departures.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
