About The Position

Metronet is seeking a results-driven Account Executive to join their Business Sales team. This role is responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and plays a key part in expanding the company's footprint. The Account Executive will be the primary point of contact for new business customers, providing tailored solutions and exceptional experiences. This position is ideal for individuals who are motivated by challenges, enjoy the sales process, and are looking for rapid career advancement within the telecommunications industry. Metronet partners with T-Mobile to offer high-speed fiber internet alongside T-Mobile's mobile and wireless solutions, allowing both companies to excel in their respective areas of connectivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in telecommunications or technology.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Candidate must be able to be in-market Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within an assigned territory or vertical.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs and present tailored solutions using Metronet's offerings.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact through contract execution and customer onboarding.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other tools to analyze data, prioritize leads, and make informed sales decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline status, and deal progress in Salesforce.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and current clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets and activity benchmarks in a competitive and fast-paced market.
  • Attend regular Individual Business Meetings (IBMs) with the Sales Manager to review performance and set goals.
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to contribute to strategy development and team success.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
