About The Position

This position supports service activities with primary responsibility for setting tables; clearing dining tables and bar; refreshing tables; cleaning and sanitizing tables/chairs and booths; cleanliness of work area; delivering food orders to guests; assembling and delivering to go orders when necessary; and supporting bar service activities. The St. Paul Grill is a celebrated Twin Cities dining destination, known for its classic American dining, a deep and thoughtfully curated beverage menu, and a refined yet inviting atmosphere. Guests come for perfectly cooked steaks, timeless cocktails, and service that blends confidence, consistency, and charm. The front-of-house team operates with professionalism and attention-to-detail, supported by clear expectations, strong leadership, and a culture that values refinement and warmth in equal measure. Requirements

  • 6 months to 1-year related experience in a high-volume, high energy, food and beverage environment.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to position self to move about.
  • The employee frequently is required to operate and use station tools and equipment; and communicate with guests, employees, and management.
  • The employee must move up to 30 pounds frequently.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Assists guests and servers and in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cleans and polishes glassware, flatware, and equipment.
  • Removes dirty items from tables, cleans and sets tables with silverware, glassware and china, assemble roll wraps, fill water glasses, and transport food to guests.
  • Supports bar staff with clearing soiled items; restocking ice, glassware, liquor, beer, wine and paper supplies.
  • Transports dirty dishes/glassware, etc. from dining room to kitchen and/or bar.
  • Accurately assembles, fills, and delivers to go orders when necessary.
  • Ensures the cleanliness and organization of designated work areas.
  • Stocks/replenishes an adequate supply of product and equipment based on expected business volumes and completes set up and break down duties to departmental standard.
  • Sweeps and mops floors.
  • Performs all duties on the position checklist including all cleaning duties.
  • Complies with company, local, state, and national regulations pertaining to food quality, cleanliness and sanitation standards, alcohol service, and safety.
  • Completes any and all other duties as assigned.
