About The Position
Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) is seeking caring and dependable individuals to join their team as Bus Operators in Yates County. This role involves providing safe and reliable transportation for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, enabling them to access programs, employment, and community activities. The Bus Operator will ensure a welcoming and supportive experience, follow established routes, conduct vehicle safety inspections, and prioritize passenger safety and comfort. This position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with morning and afternoon routes, contributing to a healthy work-life balance.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain 19-A Certification
- Safe driving record
- Positive attitude
- Desire to help others
Nice To Haves
- Class C CDL with Passenger Endorsement preferred (not required for all positions)
- Ask about training opportunities if you do not have a CDL.
Responsibilities
