About The Position

Grow Early Learning is seeking responsible Bus Drivers in Okeechobee, Florida, to safely transport children to their destinations. Drivers must follow DOT regulations, company policies, established routes, and the procedures in the Grow Early Learning Transportation Manual. Route deviations are permitted only when directed by an Emergency Response Team, Lead Bus Driver, or Transportation Specialist in coordination with the Transportation Manager or Assistant Transportation Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B, with P&S endorsement and School Bus Driver Certificate of Training.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to read and write.
• Understanding of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a bus and transport children to their destinations.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Keep the bus neat, clean, and sanitized according to established procedures in the Grow Early Learning Transportation Manual.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all children throughout the journey.
• Follow established bus routes without deviations, except when directed by an Emergency Response Team, Lead Bus Driver, or Transportation Specialist in coordination with the Transportation Manager or Assistant Transportation Manager.
