About The Position

SANY's Syracuse Academy of Science is excited to announce the opening for a Part-Time Bus Driver. The primary role and purpose is to operate a school bus that transports students and other authorized personnel to and from assigned destinations including but not limited to field trips, sporting events, and other school-related activities. The driver will also check the condition of vehicle tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and all safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order.

Requirements

• Valid Drivers License with Passenger School Bus Endorsement
• Fingerprint clearance through New York State Education Department
• CDL B or higher
• P endorsement (passenger)
• S endorsement (school bus)
• 3-year minimum school bus driving experience
• A clean driver's license required

Nice To Haves

• Flexibility (10-15 hours per week: days, nights, and weekends)
