About The Position

Pasadena Highlands is looking for a dependable and caring individual to join our team as a Bus Driver. As a Part-Time Bus Driver, you will provide safe and prompt resident transportation using the company vehicle. You must be service-oriented, energetic, and a caring individual providing transportation services for residents to banks, grocery stores, doctor appointments, and special trips.

Requirements

Must have a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus.
CPR/First Aid Certified.
Must be 18 or older.
Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Provide safe and prompt resident transportation using the company vehicle.
Transport residents and staff to and from scheduled doctor appointments and outings.
Maintain vehicles in good condition and inspect them on a regular basis.
Stay in compliance with driving schedule.
Keep track of appointment and scheduled activity times.
Keep vehicles clean and maintained once a week.
Report any trouble or misunderstandings with staff, residents, or resident's family members to the supervisor.
Report to the Department Head when the supervisor is not in the facility.
Keep mileage records when using the bus.
Maintain effective communication with the receptionist and supervisor.
Assist all residents in and out of the vehicle.
Escort residents to doctor's offices or any other facility when required.
Clean the parking lot and front entrance with a blower every day.
Report to the supervisor for other duties when there is no transportation task.
Be physically able to perform assigned job tasks.
Adhere to guidelines in the Employee Handbook including dress code, conduct, scheduling, etc.
