About The Position

Currey Ingram Academy is accepting applications for a part-time bus driver with an immediate start. The job duties for this position will primarily include driving for periodic field trips during the school day, late afternoon and evening athletic events, and occasionally driving bus routes in the morning and afternoon as a substitute for our full-time driver.

Requirements

• Meet Tennessee DOT requirements for driving buses
• Hold a Certified Drivers License (CDL) with P (Passenger) and S (School) endorsements
• Pass a DOT medical exam
• Pass a background check at the state and federal level
• Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Complete training requirements
• Experience, license, and endorsements required

Responsibilities

• Driving for periodic field trips during the school day
• Driving for late afternoon and evening athletic events
• Occasionally driving bus routes in the morning and afternoon as a substitute for our full-time driver
