About The Position

Requirements

Valid NY State Commercial Driver's License (Class A, B, or C) with Passenger endorsement and no seating restrictions preferred.
Must have a Class B permit with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements prior to the start date.
Clean driving record and at least 5 years of regular Class D driving experience required.
Excellent Customer Service skills are a must.
Will be required to pass a post-offer 19A physical.

Responsibilities

Operates a bus or other revenue service vehicle to safely transport customers along designated routes and according to established schedules.
Picks up customers in response to scheduled service, radio, or telephone requests and assists customers with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed.
Completing required trip logs, reporting vehicle malfunctions, and conducting pre-trip vehicle inspections before departure.
