About The Position

The Community Bus Driver plays a critical role for our residents by providing transportation services to and from appointments and activities.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers and staff.
  • Must be 25 years of age or older.
  • Valid CDL license required for communities that have a bus that carries 15 or more passengers.
  • Good standing and current Operator’s License.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Stamina, strength and endurance to safely transport residents in and out of the vehicle utilizing ramps, wheelchair tie downs and lifts.
  • Ability to provide safe and secure travel for our residents.
  • Create a comforting, calm and engaging atmosphere for our residents.
  • The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents.
