About The Position

A Bus Driver provides transportation for PCA students to and from school and ensures children's safety while they are under his care. Ideal candidates must be born-again Christians and must be dedicated to training young people for serving God; and must desire to educate students based on biblical values and be committed to excellence as a Christian educator who glorifies Christ as the source of all wisdom and knowledge. Applicants must agree with Pensacola Christian College’s Mission, Purpose & Objectives, Doctrinal Position, Philosophy of Education, and Faculty & Staff Commitments. We are looking for qualified individuals who are “Dedicated to Excellence, Committed to Service”. Employee Services hires for Pensacola Christian Academy, Pensacola Christian College, and Abeka, all of which are experiencing tremendous growth. Our ministry began in 1954 when Pensacola Christian Academy opened with just 35 students. Since then, the Lord has blessed us in many ways. Requirements

  • Ability to drive a bus in various weather conditions
  • Discernment in managing situations

Responsibilities

  • Follow established bus routes and time schedules but be flexible to any changes.
  • Follow all highway bus regulations when driving, taking extra precaution as necessary.
  • Ensure children on bus are following proper bus and safety protocol.
  • Report any situations immediately to the Transportation Director.
  • Maintain accurate student and vehicle records.
  • Communicate regularly with PCA faculty and staff to stay recent with recent bus route or child changes.
  • Ensure that bus is keep in clean and presentable.
  • Immediately report needed repairs.
