Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Able to work safely and follow DOT drug and alcohol rules
• Strong customer service skills
• Valid Class A or B CDL with Passenger Endorsement and no Air Brake restriction, OR CDL Permit with Passenger Endorsement before hire
• Must get a Florida Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement within 30 days of hire (training and testing provided onsite)
• Must be able to pass a Florida Department of Transportation Medical Examination and maintain a current medical card
• Subject to Drug and Alcohol Workplace Testing as provided in DOT regulation 49 CFR Part 40 and 655

Nice To Haves

• One year of driving buses or heavy vehicles preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive buses, trolleys, trams, or passenger vans on assigned routes
• Provide assistance to passengers with disabilities or limited mobility
• Collect fares and give excellent customer service
• Check vehicles each day and do small maintenance tasks
• Complete daily reports and paperwork
• Follow all safety rules and traffic laws
• Work alone or with the team as needed
• Assist during emergencies or special events
• Perform other duties as assigned
