About The Position

The Fairview Park City Schools has an opening for a Bus Driver, up to four hours per day (plus opportunities for field trips). NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Paid training and great benefits!

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Hold and maintain a valid CDL with School Bus Endorsement
• A safe driving record (per abstract results)
• Friendly and polite demeanor and the ability to work well with students and staff
• Evidence of exceptional attendance and work record
• Evidence of strong disciplinary strategies for working with students
• Ability to follow written and verbal orders

Nice To Haves

• OBI Certification Preferred
• Previous school bus driving experience preferred but not necessary (paid training provided)

Responsibilities

• Transport students to and from school on a daily basis
• Maintain proper student behavior while operating school bus
• Prepare and maintain student information reports, records and communications
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Director of Operations
• Transport students to and from extra activities as required
• Maintain the general cleanliness of the bus externally and internally
• Communicate with the appropriate people any deficiencies as they pertain to the operation of the bus
