About The Position
Seeking a reliable and responsible Bus Driver Substitute to transport students. This role ensures the safe and timely arrival of students to and from school and on field trips. The position offers guaranteed hours per day with additional pay per trip.
Requirements
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement.
- Texas School Bus Driver Safety Training Certificate or willingness to acquire.
- Ability to pass examination for physical qualifications for drivers.
- Ability to pass an initial drug test and agree to future random tests.
- Ability to manage student behavior.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a school bus for student transportation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Manage student behavior on the bus.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
