About The Position
Celebrate the Children School is pleased to announce an opening for a full-time Bus Driver / Job Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Celebrate the Children is a well-respected, non-profit, state-approved private school for children with alternative learning styles that has been providing quality educational services to the community for over 20 years. Our staff are surrounded by colleagues who are caring, compassionate, and dedicated to our program philosophy.
Requirements
- CDL Class B driver's license with air brake, Passenger ("P"), and School Bus ("S") endorsements required
- Ability to work independently while fostering a positive and supportive environment for students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children and young adults ages 3-21 preferred
- Experience providing behavioral support preferred
Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school and community locations while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
- Provide 1:1 support to adult students participating in vocational and community-based work experiences.
- Help students develop successful work-based learning experiences.
- Identify safe work practices.
- Foster independence.
- Support students in achieving their individualized vocational goals.
