About The Position

DAEOC is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Bus Drivers for pre-school students, transporting them to Head Start locations. This role also involves maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children and staff during transport. The driver is responsible for the security of the bus and ensuring its mechanical safety and maintenance. Full-time positions are available for candidates willing to provide custodial assistance at the center, which includes benefits.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Three to six months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
CDL (class A or B) driver's license valid in the state of Missouri with passenger endorsement.
Must be at least 25 years old (per insurance company requirements).

Responsibilities

Transport pre-school students to Head Start locations.
Maintain a safe, clean, and healthful environment for children and staff during transport.
Ensure the security of the bus.
Ensure the bus is safe and mechanically maintained at all times.
Provide custodial assistance in the center (for full-time positions).
