About The Position

DAEOC is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Bus Drivers and Custodians. This role involves safely transporting pre-school students to Head Start locations, ensuring a secure and well-maintained environment on the bus. The position offers part-time bus driving opportunities or full-time employment with benefits for candidates willing to also assist with custodial duties at the center. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CDL (class A or B) driver's license valid in the state of Missouri with passenger endorsement.
Must be at least 25 years old (per insurance company requirements).
Willingness to provide custodial assistance (for full-time position).

Responsibilities

Transport pre-school students to Head Start locations.
Maintain a safe, clean, and healthful environment for children and staff during transport.
Ensure the security of the bus.
Ensure the bus is safe and mechanically maintained at all times.
Provide custodial assistance in the center (for full-time position).
